Some random Deus Ex predictions I noticed

Many of you probably know about several better-known predictions from this game: for example, those about the Twin Towers, Covid, EU Globalization, etc. , but in this thread I focused more on some lesser-known predictions that I found out about myself. For those who don't know: Deus Ex is a cyberpunk action RPG from year 2000, based on conspiracy theories from the real world.

• Incel on a bulletin board​

In one of the subway-area levels of the game there’s an interactive terminal witch has a subsection in it, that teaches normies how to spot a terrorist on the street, I acknowledge that the traits listed can describe a lot of types of people, but it also points out some of the characteristics of incels.

• Modern Faggotry

Before the 21st century, unisex toilets were unheard of, the first known public unisex toilet in USA was introduced in the 2000's at an Ohio University, in 2052 these “toilets” are a common sight, even though classic separated toilets still exist in this world, (you can sexually harass in UNATCO’s rest rooms ), there are multiple unisex toilets in Deus Ex, outside of this the game doesn’t really associate with topics of gender and sexuality, one french femoid even has this funny comment about it: "I know the bathroom is unisex, but just wait a minute will you?"

• Modern female fashion

Provocative clothing started to be trendy at least since the sexual revolution in the 60s, in the 90s and 2000s it started to go to exhibitionistic extremes, so I guess it was assumed that it would only get worse and worse, so I wouldn't consider this to be some kind of a super clairvoyant act, but it's good that the writer or designers were aware of this, there are foid NPC's in the game that wear an under-boob crop top. Similar clothing appeared at fashion shows in the late 90s.

Great game but those predictions may not even be their imagination but real source material that they could get from the elites. Huxley that wrote Brave New World also has so many connections and just rewrote what they've told him. It's predictive programming.

Good to know, also the lead writer Sheldon Pacotti basically disappeared after the sequel + a few interviews/books now and then.

Yeah, same with MGS2. Redditors talk like Kojima is some genius who saw the future, but he just pulled from Chomsky and Neuromancer.
