Being a corrupt politician probably stems not just from greed but hatred of humans.
A lot of low-status men get on the politics scene, they've been abused by CHADs and normies and so they finally get to take their revenge and steal millions.
I can't blame them I absolutely despise humanity if I were to be elected on some important positions i'd milk most of the budget since I couldn't care less if some normie was struggling with his finances when I despise all of humanity.
