The difference though is that with capitalism you can choose to work elsewhere. You can choose to study and improve yourself, get qualifications, etc. You can start your own business.

I feel like a lot of left-wingers have this victim mentality where they have to just take everything that is thrown at them, never take any real agency or responsibility over their own lives... they're just like passengers and the only thing they can do is try to change who drives the train.
