At least it is for like... some typical filters. I don't know about all. But it's such a slow, tedious draw and the hit is a fraction as good!

I don't smoke much so typically when I do I just pull the filter off, flip the cigarette around so I get the cleanest end, and smoke that way.

Marlboro reds are way, way too nice. lol

Why smoke at all

I get it also is a good cope

It's like a little treat. Like a chocolate bar or whatever. Or a nice cold can of Mountain Dew Voltage ^_^

never took off the filter but some filters on cigs are just horrible i stick to certian brands, i either smoke marlboro reds or lights, or american spirits

not worth it.

I guess I figure at this point over the course of my life... I've smoked a fair few cigarettes if you add them all up. It's always been light smoking but over years it adds up, which is why I limit it even more now than I did when I was younger.

But my risk is still not zero. It will never be zero again.

That being said, every time you walk by a busy road you're taking a risk.

once you step foot out of bed there's a risk. Definitely restrict yourself as much as you can nic addiction was the worst thing I've been though.

I'm pretty sure I've never been addicted. I can go years without a cigarette and then smoke like 1 a day for a bit and then go years without one again.

you might just have good genetics or something. i loved cigarette i always looked at it as friend that always stood by my side. that was my cope at the time. Then i quit with the help of medication. Otherwise, it would have been impossible.

How heavily did you smoke?

Vaping I did more heavily but I nearly always vaped very low nicotine.

Smoking... I think literally the most I've ever smoked in one day was like 8 cigarettes. lol

And I've hardly ever smoked menthols, as apparently they're more addictive and I didn't want to play with that if I've done OK with avoiding addiction with regular ciggies. Seemed like an unnecessary extra risk.

i started out with vapes then i dropped because the liquid that goes in was very difficult to find for sale around my neck of the woods. moved from vapes to sisha would spend all my income with that. from sisha to an avid chain cig smoker started out flavoured until i wasn't able to afford flavoured 2-3 boxes a day so 40-60 individual cigs per day. 1500 a month give or take a whole carton every 4-5 days. 18K individual cigs smoked year round. Compared to my room the jooz in those 'gas' chambers had it easy jej.

my thought process was: "yeah let me smoke a whole lot of cigs then i get cancer and die. that will definitely happened like within like the next 6 months if i be cigmaxxing i'm sure."

after that not working at all for i've seen how stupid idea that was yeah definitely won't speed run death the goal wasn't only to speedrun death buy to kill myself indirectly. as stupid as people thinking "yeah let me eat a lot get fat and die of being fat" definitely that will happen eventually but its a slow and painful process and you will likely be out of money until then. or change your mind and oh wow its too late now because you're fat now and can't even stand up to lose weight. eternal suffering to you, i guess. better get to scooting!

i prefer it with a filter tbh

while i do like the strongest smoke i can get, w/o a filter, you'll get tons of random tobacco grains in your mouth

Ah but typically not if you do one of these three things:

- do my trick of flipping the cigarette around after taking off the filter

- buy cigs that already don't have filters

- use roach paper

Yes that is a LOT of tobacco!! A different world to me. It makes sense that that would tempt addiction!

roach paper
i had my backup rolling tobacco, i used to roll them with corn husk like tamales wrapping corn husk.
When i was out of corn husk i did use any regular paper notebooks, books whatever i could get my hands on.
fun fact you can split those foils that comes wrapping the ciggie in the box. if you have patience, you can pull that out of the back of the foil and make wrapping paper its like a very thing clothy kinda paper.

ridonculous amount.

Smoke cigars if you have the bread, ciggs are not as good I assume

I think it's more about whether you inhale or not, surely.

Also I always wonder if a safer cigarette could be made by limiting nitrates in the plant. But I'm not aware of anywhere that does that.

I only smoke weed and a filter is absolutely needed, I mean not absolutely but it sure makes the smoke a lot smoother. I use a bong too so the cold water is a good filter. One time my friend crushed some tobacco from a cigarette and mixed it with weed in the bowl. No joke I almost passed out when I hit it

Marb reds are overrated. Atleast in my country they tend to suck compared to Dunhill, Rothmans and Parliament. I usually don't remove filters tho, plus I'm not really a heavy smoker tho tbhngl.
