This is cope - visible muscularity is largely down to genetics of bone size/width/mass and natural androgen receptor density.

Before I LDAR and got fat recently, I was a pushup machine and could easily annihilate most people in pushups, even gymbros. But I still had twig arms, because pushups are compound anyway and my arm size is genetically pre-determined to be small. I have narrow wrists, and the muscle I do have is anchored to my narrow bones in a way that will never make me seem "big". When I flex I've had people remark in surprise at how big my bicep is, because it just disappears completely when resting.

Being fit and healthy is worth it but anything beyond that is pointless coping.

I look better in tight t-shirts than sleeveless shirts. It is hard to find any in my small size though.
