A bright, vibrant future that completely contrasted with my surroundings.

Genuine close knit pals, the sort of drinking buddies you'd go on to talk with for decades.

I imagined a future where I could take the hand of the woman I could cherish, and fly away with her just to forget the starkness of it all.

I saw meaning, purpose. My main drive to life.

Now I only see the past, nothing else.
