Cope Should I start drawing boxes? (drawcels GTFIH)

I want to learn to draw and I heard the key to learning is too just draw a bunch of boxes.
Is this true or a waste of time?

you mean 3d drawing?
probably the best thing you can start doing is 3d and dimensions, you don't want to start with a wrong foot and end up having a ton of troubles in the futur.

Yes, but I want to draw mostly pokemon and knights. I think boxes are for perspective, is drawing boxes gonna help?
