If you live in a mixed use city, no. A good car is too expensive and a mediocre car is going to give you expensive car problems. Living in a commuter city is cucked
Just drive without insurance. Don't draw any attention and worst case scenario run off from the police. I did it thousands of times and it's ironically safer than driving insured
