Serious Should I volunteer to serve in the terrorist infested area in my country?

I’m getting drafted soon as soon as I graduate uni, and I think about volunteering to be deployed in the most shithole part of the country, which is also full of terrorists and just hours ago there was another car bomb.

I actually have a chronic illness which can easily make me be able to skip the draft if I show them proof, however I think as there’s no future for me, there’s nothing to lose.
