Serious Should I apply for job corps?

Im thinking about applying for job corps since I am sick of working foid run retail jobs that pay me only 16.20$ (which is not enough to live) so I want to apply for a blue collar job so I can actually have a livable wage and have a good chance of working with a male boss. What are your thoughts?
