Lidl is offering jobhunters in Britain who have been out of work for six months or more a guaranteed interview for roles across its operations.

As well as being fast-tracked to an interview, people applying who have been out of work for six months or more also will not need to submit a CV.

Is this their way of attempting to fix the NEET crisis?

Maybe they should begin by actually creating the incentives necessary to seek out labor.

Incentives that have been proven to work for millennia,

Like finding a mate, owning property, having children, and procuring wealth.

But alas, the UK is compromised.

Wouldn't this create more homeless people?

Most of the jobs in that country are occupied by illegals.

There's a NEET crisis because of mass immigration and DEI but you'll just get called a racist for calling it out.

Better than nothing. There needs to be more incentives like this.
