Fauxflirting is the most brutal suicide fuel out there. I've posted my worst fauxflirting story here in other threads a couple times, but I will share it once more:
I was a 16 year old virgin at the time. Awkward as fuck, and had extreme social anxiety with women at this age.
I was at a party, minding my own business. Drunk girl was fauxflirting with me for quite a while, but I still rolled with it. I didn't want to leave the party because it is rare for me to attend one. Keep in mind that I did not pursue this girl at all.
Eventually she sits in my lap. I know she's fucking with me, but I thought maybe she will hook up with me out of pity. She leans in to kiss me. When she's inches from my face, she stands up, and walks away pointing and laughing with her friends. Exactly like this picture.
It still hurts to this day, and I continue to physically cringe about it over a decade later.
Another one:
This one girl at an old job (I'm still 16 KHV) would go "heyyyyy" and shoot me a big fake smile every time she was in the vicinity. You could hear the sarcasm in her voice. She would pass me notes saying "do you want to hook up? <3" She would call me things like "hottie" or "stud" constantly. If I had to lift anything, she would go "you're soooo strong!" I was a 140 lb lanklet.
It eventually got so bad that an older female co worker (late 20s) stuck up for me and put her in her place.
This one hurts too, but not as bad as the first one. Shit like this still happens to me in adulthood, but to a lesser degree. I have a spine now and will tell them what's up.
