I have had episodes in which i feel like i am about to freak out and in those situations i always try to get out of the house. I just make any excuse to go outside and i drive around a bit and listen to music which calms me down and when that doesnt work being inside your car gives you the perfect private place to yell at the top of your longs or have those conversations with yourself you are too scared to have when around others.
I should also mention that being who we are we need to have several copes and distractions ready so i hope you already have a routine for your day. I for example just try to game as much as i can or listen to youtube videos just wasting time which usually shuts out the noise in my head until i reach a more calm state
