Normies appropriating autism has made me even more cynical than I already am. I was diagnosed as a kid and was pulled out of class numerous times for occupational therapy, speech therapy, sessions with my school's psychologist, etc. It was fucking hell and I wish people who self-diagnosed themselves with autism could walk a mile in my shoes
