I went to the gym and it was full of nasty, rude people and I just felt really anxious all the time. But to get my money's worth I went consistently and finished the whole month.
I am 99.99% into continuing exercising at home.
90% of my exercises are dumbbell-based and I can keep investing progressively on DBs as soon as I max the ones I already got. I can't buy adjustable DBs post 10 kg because of the import fees and the Chinese ones sold in stores here could snap and wreck me.
So, I have to keep buying fixed weight DBs at a progressive rate.
I don't care since I will consistently exercise.
Now, the problem is, my body is unpredictable. My feet hurt, my elbows hurt, my wrists hurt if I do XYZ movement, etc.
I am scared of investing all my $ on those DBs just to eventually stop exercising due to some injury.
What to do? I don't want to stay fat and I want to look fit at least, but my body's injury-prone and fragile.
