My comments: Russia had at least 1 abortion for every 1 birth over the last 30 years(at the very conservative estimate).

Russia's population is 146 million. Russian births and deaths since 1990.

Births 1990-2020: 46.9 million
Deaths 1990-2020: 61.5 million


If it is merely 1 abortion for 1 birth over the last 30 years, then Russia would have an extra 46.9 million people. Actually more than that, because that is 30 years so some of those kids would have become adults and be having children now.

Meanwhile Ukraine is 41 million people. Russia wouldn't have needed to try to conquer Ukraine to add 41 million people - Russia would have added more than that itself. An these aren't mutually exclusive goals. When you have twice the young men, it makes conquering somewhere else a hell of a lot easier.


No surprise the Moscow authorities are figuring this out now that they are in huge trouble in war. But it shows how stupid they were in the past. If I was Putin the birth rate would have been my number 1 priority for rebuilding Russia, from day 1 starting on midnight Dec 31, 1999 when he came to power.

Ya the Czars in Imperial Russia were smart enough that they always had 2 things.. a high birthrate, and great agricultural production to feed everybody and actually be the biggest crop exporter on top of that.

The Czars had a good strategy. They were losing like 5 soldiers for every 1 soldier of the enemy they killed. But they had 10 times more soldiers, so they were still winning. Then when they did take over the next place, they moved in shit loads of people to become majority Russian.

Russia's war strategy was always the same, these brutal wars of attrition. Where you keep killing these retarded orcs, but they just keep coming. And each year they had a gigantic amount more orcs turning 18.
