anyone else here enjoys anime romantic comedies? I usually can't stand live action ones because they make me depressed, but I can watch anime ones just fine. I guess I find them easier to self insert into.
I'm currently watching Kaguya-sama Love is War and I love it.

Same. I'm not really bothered by 2D romance like with 3D. Maybe because it's drawn and that acts like layer of separation. Or maybe it's because 2D is just fundamentally different from 3D in many respects.

I don't watch much romcom anime though. However, I like Chobits, Chunnibyou, OreImo, Kokoro Connect, and Oregairu. Those are all romcoms according to a startpage search.

No, I haven't seen it. I've heard a lot about it though and it looks good. There are a ton more anime I need to watch before I can call myself a true weeb.

Another one I like is Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun because it has a tall girl who falls in love with a manlet and that's pure wish fullfilment for me

I definitely recommend Bunny Girl Senpai. It's on par with Oregairu in terms of characters and dialogue imo.

yeah its very similar, but they aren't the main couple of the anime. They still get plenty of screentime though.

I like Seinen drama involving age-different relationships the best tbh. Kodomo No Jikan is my favorite manga ever.

But the more lighthearted and comedic Miman Renai is also great.
