There's this tall pretty boy Chad (who's an acquaintance of mine at "work"). Sometimes he comes to me and talks (usually when no one is around), and I have to larp or pretend to be a normie to keep up with him. He's the guy that likes talking and socializing and is very extroverted. I just keep asking questions upon questions to keep the conversation going because I don't know what else to say, but fortunately or luckily, normies, Chads, and women have no issue talking about themselves (and oh boy, oh boy, do they love talking about themselves lol) for most of the conversation, which makes it easier. I always thought it was a little weird and narcissistic, but I'm just like now, "Cool, it makes my life easier if I don't have to talk much" (since there's hardly anything interesting going on in my life).
I can't ignore him because I'd look bad (considering I already physically look bad enough). However, when they have nothing left to say, they expect me to say something (sometimes there would be a pause in between, which makes it awkward). Okay, when I then start talking about myself (when I have nothing left to say), they then just start nodding, and sometimes there were times where they would just look away during the conversation when I'm talking (I can already tell that they lose interest fast). However, it does showcase that people love to talk about themselves more. More than what the other person has to say? Whatever I guess. Maybe it's just a normie thing. Also, I guess hypocritically I'm doing that thing now, but I'm just not the best at articulating myself and my thoughts.
Has anyone experienced this?
