you should realise most Jap protags are between 165-179cm (5'4-5'10") since Japs in of themselves are already not that tall, so it's kind of a moot point to ask for this shit, it's not as if those MCs are 6'4" or some shit. Clannad's MC is 170cm/5'6", and School Days' MC is 168/5'5".

I also seek escapism, but my reaction is the opposite of yours. In order to feel anything I need to relate to the MC. If the MC is too different from me, if he doesn't share any of my struggles, I feel nothing for him and seeing him succeed instead makes me envious and miserable.
