Gaming Retrogaming

I'm currently getting back into retrogaming. Got some Sega games, on both the Mega Drive/Genesis and Master System. Also, I'm hoping to start redoing Z80 Assembly soon so I can make stuff on my MSX computers. I need a mapper cart for it too lel.
Anyways what's you guys' experience with retrogaming?

Word. I never get into retrogaming that old, the furthest I go back is PS1/N64

I have a raspberry pi, it runs most emulators perfectly
I just hook it up to my tv and play some SNES/Sega Genesis classics
