It has RE7 director working on it but it just seems like nostalgia bait like having Raccoon City still standing & Alyssa's Ashcroft's daughter as the main character. I hope it's in first person since encountering BOW's & zombies would be fun

I'll wait until the gameplay trailer drops to conclude my thoughts. I'm just glad it's a sequel & not another pointless remake. I don't mind first person since 7 was great & the only actually scary game so far. Since it's back in Raccoon City they should add some cut content from the 2 & 3 remakes

To be fair, I've played Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 as a foid and I've had a lot of fun.

The characters weren't these superwoman type of bitches. They weren't raging feminists or girl bosses.

Both Claire and Jill exhibited clear motherly instincts, both to children and hurt partners.
It was pretty wholesome.

Of course the devs had to dress up Jill in all kinds of revealing outfits, because sex sells, but the characters were fine.

In RE3 remake however they just had to ruin Jills' character.

Haven played RE2 remake enough, just yet to even get to playing as Claire.

Also, it was based how they've made you play as Jill on Easy/Normal mode in RE1 and as Chris on Hard mode.

Village's 3rd person was shit. It felt like some fan made mod done in a week. Re4 remake first person mod was better. Me thinks they will once again rip out melee combat since its completely new character with no prior experience

Village was better in first person since the game was made with first person in mind. Even 1 was originally meant to be in first person but the technology was limited at the time so fixed camera's were used instead.

I'll wait until the gameplay & demo both drop to fully judge it. The protagonist should have been Chris & Jill's son or daughter, would have been better since he/she could have been a second generation protagonist since Chris & Jill are both 50 now.

NevER buy games at full price tbh i bought demake 4 at 20 euros on steam and still felt it was mostly average to good. If i paid 60 for that demake turd i would have really felt ripped of

half the trailer is some foid. I always suspected RE franchise is just elaborate simp-bait. There is always 1 waifu or another to play as, or save. Ever since I saw that trailer of just jills face in the mirror, i got sus, then the big hot vampire lady, Ada dressed for the red carpet rather than an apocalypse etc. etc. I am certain i am right.
