Still doesn’t make sense why a hyper advanced civilization capable of subjugating entire species wouldn’t simply create synthetic drones or lifeforms that take out the leg work of traveling across the stars to enslave inferior lifeforms. They could make ai/robots to do all their work, they could do the work themselves, why enslave a bunch of retarded apes. In our world we stopped enslaving people because we made technology much more advanced than any slave could hope to compete with.

A type 3 civilization would be able to manufacture loosh energy far more efficiently and effortlessly than conventional methods.

But they wouldn't need it because they would have created new bodies that don't require it nor have other biological needs.

Ideally the safest bet for life would be to simulate a preferred reality whilst one's consciousness is stored away secured from entropy, constantly being repaired.

Let alone why not just set a "computer" (black cube) very far away in a region of the universe that is so isolated that it would be near impossible for an object to penetrate it. Then the computer simulates a "planet" and of course we're talking about an ASI that could simulate many different consciousnesses/planets simultaneously.

Sometimes when you think of something, it might appear in your life.
