There's a lot of reasons I hate reddit and will never go back, and power mods is certainly one of them.
Only a narcissistic, power hungry piece of shit would ever want to be a moderator of that many subs. Logically speaking, nobody has enough time to moderate more than a few large subs. I modded /r/incels and that alone took up pretty much all of my free time. Granted it was the biggest target on reddit and raided regularly. But still, just going through the queue/reports on a large sub is time consuming.
Most of the power mods use a script to ban users from every single sub the moderate if they don't like them. I've even seen some of them brazenly brag about doing just that. They can abuse their power as much as they want and they always get away with it because all the power mods are a part of the same clique (or in the very least, hold the same views), and they're all doing the same thing anyway.
