Even if it was just a 50/50 chance of being born gigachad or terasubhuman, I am still not going to flip the coin purely because I’ve had the experience of living the life of a really ugly middle-eastern, I am NOT willing to take the chances or reliving the same fucking hellhole again, no way. There’s also always a 1.4/8 chance of being born in India sooooooo… yeah, the cons are definitely outweighing the pros here.

I’m just gonna go back to the good ol’ cope that after I die, I’ll go to heaven and meet St. Hamudi and have all my 72 virgin waifus right next to me.

That’s a much MUCH nicer cope to have than thinking that I’ll be reborn again into God knows what.

We don't know what goes on after death. Maybe the whole NDE thing is real and we all go to heaven, but that just seems retarded to me. If we all go to heaven, then what was the point of this life? In the absence of that, there is no certainty with regards to the afterlife. You can't even be sure of eternal "sleep" or darkness. If there really is something after death, you will probably be punished in it. You will go to hell and be tortured for eternity because you roped, or you will be reborn as an insect and have to work your way back up to human with very little chance of being born in a first world country with good genetics. The point is that we don't know what the fuck will happen but I'd say that there is a greater chance you will end up even worse off.

Well I don't assume that there is an afterlife. But every version of the afterlife which humans have envisioned confirms that there is some plan or form of objective truth, as it is a place where the illusions of this world are lifted, and there is a clear distinction between right and wrong. In that case, there must be a point or purpose to this plane of existence because truth exists. If there is truth, then everything must have some meaning or purpose. It must all "fit" together, without compromise. And if everyone goes to heaven, then this world has no effect on the afterlife and would therefore have no purpose. Without purpose it is simply a manifestation of chaos and irrationality, and cannot fit into the greater design of the creator.

You could have taken the frederick nietzsche approach That you will be reborn your same life over and over again for all eternity as horrifying as that is and yes it is horrifying it. Also gives you a chance to push yourself to do all the fun stuff you like to do in the 1st place so you can still enjoy those moments endlessly.
