When a woman speaks out about her "problems", "oppression", "glass ceilings", or "discrimination", she is subsequently praised and hailed as an empowered revolutionary and a brave hero for doing so. Because she's standing up to the "toxic straight white Christian male patriarchy" for getting angry that women don't constitute 50% of STEM jobs or some other menial bullshit.
Then when a man makes a single comment about his inability to find a relationship or be respected/left alone by his peers, he is faced with a barrage of bizarre and largely inapplicable self-help or self-improvement advice like "get a haircut", "take a shower", or "go workout". Or he is simply berated, derided, insulted, and called an entitled bigoted incel who is the scum of the earth.
The double standard is insane. Isn't the whole current outrage culture and social justice rights movement centered around the (obviously untrue) idea that each movement/group of people has a right to speak for themselves and that their experiences are "validated"? Then how come the opposite of the comic above happens? Why is it that women can create an entire massive movement based on menial or non-existent issues like the STEM example and are allowed to do so without interruptions; but then when men's rights are even MENTIONED anywhere in mainstream media or society, it is immediately bombarded with a spew of garbage comments that "invalidate" it and minimize the issues?
