As much as I fucking despise isekai, I'll give this series credit with actually trying some new stuff with it's setting and characters.
For starters, it takes place in a sci fi, space setting with galactic councils, mercenaries and space ships, and not some generic jrpg medieval fantasy world setting.
The setting reminds me very much of cowboy bebop and outlaw star, loved that series when I was 16.
The MC is a 27 year old loser gamer wageslave virgin, who fucks a 15 year old virgin foid pretty early in the series.
He also gets a harem as per anime protag requirement.
His harem are an elf, a 15 year old plot twist princess, an esdeath expy and a big tittied doctor.
I've not read the manga in a while, but this series monster mogs most generic medieval fantasy slop on the market now.
I like fantasy worlds, but they don't have to be just medieval fantasy, you can be as creative as you want.
Naruto and one piece are 2 of some of the most successful anime off all time, and they take place in fantasy worlds about ninjas and pirates, not knights, castles and kingdoms.
So yeah, thought I'd spread awareness about reborn as a space mercenary as a whole, and it's upcoming anime
