i cant even grasp the most basic social cues or know when is an appropriate moment to enter a conversation or how to express emotion in tone or in the way i speak or actually convey the message i want to express or engage in social play & banter where people have small talk and chit chat and it's completely mind shattering as i've just been placed in a situation where im in a large social group and everyone is functional and i'm just observing and afraid to speak as i know it will not end well, years of social isolation has doomed me

like im 20 and my peers r all gen z and they have all this lingo speak and they just pick up on it and to me it's like they're speaking alien language coz i have no idea what it means but it's like i've sort of seen all these terms before but i just don't have the ability to grasp it naturally and apply them in normal conversation in an organic way like how autistic am i to have such low social intelligence, after being alone for so long and having to interact with people it's like i've forgot how to talk to people and it's so doomed
