This is a thread set on deep seated self-reflection. I get mad when my intellect is mocked on this forum but that's I know my critics are right, I have inextricably bound my ego to the notion of supreme intellect to the point where any potency of truth spirals me into paramount rage.
I was deformed, I spent even my early childhood either friendless or hanging around other disabled kids. Most were mentally retarded as well so I found no joy in being around them.
My late childhood and teenage years were spent reading books. In some ways I am grateful for this. A lot of incels here grew up with treacherous bluepilled lies and were told if only they were confident they'd be Chads. They spent their entire teenage years trying to ascend and failing miserably with dreadful disappointment. Not me, being a deformity I knew as soon as I was self-aware my life was set for a different destiny. I knew there was no point in trying so I decided to book-max, knowledge-max, become an ubermensch of thought and intellect believing I would overpass my non-deformed peers like how Hawking surpassed his.

Reading is a MASSIVE waste of time. I've read about history, I've read about philosophy, I've read about politics, science, math, economics, classic novels, science fiction, EVERYTHING. I spent my fair share of time on youtube and vidya like all kids do, but since I had zero social life I also had time to read. Sure I know a lot more about the history of Chinese-Indian relations in the 600s, sure I know just about every economic theory under the sun, sure I know a basic level of all contemporary and post-1900s scientific theories and models. Has this been useful? NO.
Making 2-page long shitposts on this fucking forum has been the first time I ever expressed some of the stuff I've read, half the time I get "TOO LONG DIDNT READ" bullshit. If I were a normie maybe I could brag about my knowledge by making subtle snarky comments at social events to try to impress the ladies (and failing miserably looking like a huge dork), but being the outcast I am I have no one to impress with this knowledge.
Reading is also massively inefficient as well. It takes so long to actually read a sizable amount of material, only students studying a specific topic, outcasts with nothing to do, or retired people have time for it. A huge chunk of the time is spent googling unfamiliar words, and even the sharpest memory can only retain a small fraction of what you read. You have to read a substantial amount to have any real impressive knowledge, but paradoxically the more you read the exponentially more you forget. I have a much better memory than most but I can't recall the probably millions of pages I've read without rereading them first, and that makes the knowledge completely and utterly USELESS in this information age.
Seriously. I'm admitting once and for all, I WASTED my life acquiring knowledge, not that I had any other choice. Don't feel bad if you LDAR playing videogames instead of doing of reading, reading will just make you a failed human library.
