Well, timeless classics. The golden age is over, but so long as roms exist, I shall enjoy it.
As for buying those games on disc or cartridge, it has become financially unfeasible because the scalpers are ruining the retro game market.
I use emulators and that's that.
I won't even get myself an Analogue 3D or SuperStation One because the games are still too expensive and are not being produced anymore.
I am all for game preservation, but todays gamers dgaf about that.
They are not even real gamers.
Game preservation is costly though. Whether you run servers or store it on HDDs.
Somebody has to foot the bill.
This is why I am only buying games on GOG nowadays and intentionally at full price.

Collecting retro games is a super expensive hobby, I just live vicariously through YouTubers like Retro Ghetto.
I only have a few SEGA Mega Drive games and the rest are PS3 and Xbox 360 which I wouldn't really consider retro.

Yeah, I've got a SNES and PS2 emulator, I do like having physical copies of games though, I like displaying them.
