For men: Good face, physical strength, good height, extroversion, low inhib, not too high IQ but not too dumb, mildly sociopathic or self destructive behaviors like smoking or drinking.

Some combo of the above = cool.

90% of it is looks. A quiet, mysterious brooding Chad can be just as cool to normies as a loud low inhib Chad.
I guess it's low inhibition, being a bully or alpha, extroversion, being nonchalant, being seen with girls, having equally attractive friends, playing sports, expensive clothes.
Most of these simply don't work if you're not attractive.
