Researchers noticed that those participants who tended to display one of nine “dark” personality traits (egoism, Machiavellianism, moral disengagement, narcissism, psychological entitlement, psychopathy, sadism, self-interest, and spitefulness) also tended to display one or more of the other traits as well.
