Well, now you are moving the goalposts, if you're asking for direct evidence of "adding new genome to the mutation", which is called Horizontal gene transfer, it's possible in many different ways. One way, which is called transformation, is when bacteria take in exogenous DNA from their environment and incorporate it into their genome. Another way is through conjugation, which is when two bacterial cells physically connect and exchange genetic materials. These are observed and tested methods which can occur in nature.
