Had a PS2 in January, but had to pawn it off along with the games when I was low on cash.


. Devil may cry 1 and 3

. Ratchet and clank 1, 2, 3 and gladiator

.crash wrath of cortex and twinsanity

In total, that's 8 games.

I would get more, but none match my tastes and interests.

I don't like resident evil, final fantasy or shadow of the colossus, so don't bother recommending those games to me.

I saw an irl friend play god of war 1 and 2 last year, but the god of war series just doesn't interest me

Never got into it, the only one I played was the PS2 port of code Veronica, and I got stuck and gave up.

Sometimes, RE games and it's characters can kinda come off as foid empowerment slop, and I don't play that shit

I never got the feeling of them coming off as foid empowerment. Though thats probably cause I dont really pay attention to the dialogue back then

I dont think they done or said anything foid empowering besides fight zombies. Though like I said I haven't really paid attention to the dialogue. They're hot though and made pretty far back before things change.

OG RE4 is around 5 bucks for the ps2 and features a somewhat mysoginist Leon Kennedy, it’s pretty good you should look into it.

I really enjoyed the original killzone on PS2.

I'm sure it's laughable compared to shooters that actual gamers play. But the whole trip of that game really hit home for me. Loved it.

The spic dude, Rico, had so many great quotes.

The enemies to bros sub-plot arc between Rico and Hakha was heartwarming.

And it was the first shooter I ever played where staying under cover and surprising enemies who could detect you, was a thing.


(I watched my little brother play metal gear solid on the Sega Mega Drive years earlier. But I was nowhere near skilled enough to get into that.)
