Prostitutes should either be free or paid a low amount of money. There should be a maximum wage law for prostitutes. I assume it costs so much money now because they only have few clients. If they had more clients, they could reduce the price because they would get paid as much as it they had one client i.e. they can either get paid $150 from one client for an hour a day or $15 from 10 clients for half an hour each. To increase the amount of clients they have, prostitution should be legalized so that men don't fear being arrested for it and therefore become clients; and also so that they can advertise on TV, newspapers, billboards, etc... to increase the clients. Also legalizing prostitution might increase the number of prostitutes because they wouldn't fear being arrested; therefore supply would increase which may mean lower prices.
You might say prostitutes should be paid as much as they are now because they put themselves at risk of STDs and pregnancy, but condoms and abortion exist. Also sometimes it's the case that Johns get infected by prostitutes. In that case, he should be refunded and paid for for damages. It's expensive now because prostitutes carry the risk of being arrested.
I don't understand why prostitutes are paid more than fast food workers(minimum wage workers). Food is a daily basic necessity while you can survive with sex for longer. Food is more valuable than sex. Prostitutes should be paid less than fast food workers especially when their vaginas look like roast beef.
