Prison sentences are far too long, Anything longer than a year or two is too much

People don’t understand how long 5 - 10 years is alone, so much happens in that amount of time, so much that you won’t be apart of, and it’s wrong to pull people away from their lives like that.

I even think 5 years alone is too long. Nigga high school itself is 4 years, freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior.

I don’t think anyone should be locked away in a shitty, faggy rapist filled dungeon for longer than 2 years.

If they’ve done something that bad then just put them to death instead. It’s far more merciful than locking them away to rot. The dead can’t suffer.

Saw some video of a guy who spent time in a Vietnamese prison. He said there's not gangs in there like US prisons. He said it's because they're busy working you for 16 hours a day and no one really has time/energy for anything after that lol

Examples like that are where most of my stances on prison culture comes from. If the USA thought to implement harsher/more dehumanizing systems like this then it would be infinitely safer
