You find yourself waking up in a carriage filled with other people, the atmosphere and visuals seem familiar, like you've seen before, but can vaguely remember. You are instantly reminded that this deja-vu is actually something you've experienced countless times before in a video game when a familiar voice is heard in front of you saying: "Hey you, you're finally awake, you were trying to cross the border, right?"

You look around in your surroundings to confirm that what you're seeing is not someone setting up a prank on you with a VR headset or something. It is real. You were transported into a different dimension which is set place in Skyrim, Tamriel exactly the year where the game takes place.

But the question is, what is the first thing you would do after escaping Helgen with Ralof/Hadvar?

Be that dude who tries to run away and gets shot in the back by the imperial archers

Go to the riverwood trader, steal the “raise zombie” tome, go to embershard mine, kill all the bandits there and resurrect them, then use the bandit zombies to kill everyone in riverwood, go from bandit hideout to hideout killing and reviving each of them one by one. Have undead army, take over skyrim, profit.

You do remember that you are in an actual world right? You need to learn their alphabets in order to read the tomes and learn how to cast magic - something you weren't born to do because you are from Earth

Cope I will just “use” the tome from my inventory and automatically learn the spell

who said anything about reading

There's no inventory except for your pocket and the book is actually a book that you can read

(1) Loot some fucking warm clothes off of Alduin's victims on the ground! That place looks brutally cold. You start the game wearing a shirt that looks like someone cut arm and neck holes into a potato sack.

(2) Head straight to Whiterun, the only civilised place where a soft 21st century westerner with no swordsmanship skills has any chance of survival. Rat out Saadia to the Alik'r for some insta cash and then take over her job cleaning tables in the pub. Maybe ask Uthgerd the virgin to teach me how to fight, and try to ascend...

Ok, well I guess I could get someone to teach me to read and then I’m all set

You'd make an excellent mage, I guess.

Looks like you got it all planned, very strategic, especially combat because you need to actually learn how to fight with a sword due to the fact it is reality. Different from the game.
With who?

With who?
Anyone I could. Preferably with a high elf, dark elf, nord, Breton, or imperial female.

If you mean specific characters, then idk, too many to chose from.

All I know is that I'd ascend one way or another, and no one would stop me.

I'd ascend with Lydia easily if I do get past the tombs and crypts filled with Draugrs

1. Start by doing whatever shit I can to get some coins
2. Buy a blacksmith shop
3. Invent guns, plastic, combustion engines, electricity etc.

Just invent every single modern technology from scratch when you get transported into a different world theory

Ok maybe plastics were too far... but ICE's (at least steam engines) and guns are very doable.

Good luck finding sulfur in a realm full of new elements

Sulphur isn't absolutely critical. Any oxidizer and fuel mix will explode just fine.

Just cast explosion magic tbh
Can't build multiple houses by just using a few rocks.

Mass production of less durable, but consistent and stackable bricks is key.

Also can't time delay explosion magic. :feelsdevil:

Maybe I would try to go to Whiterun or Solitude and start a new life.
I don't think I would need to fear dragons because they only appear in game after you get your first thuu'm

Someday I could become an advisor to a jarl or a scholar using my knowledge of the elder scrolls universe and politics

Go and meet with Serana.
LOL good luck with that. The Volkihar vampire clan would fuck you up so bad.

Even that dude who was the chief of the Vigilants, with all of his training and years of experience, couldn't get close.
