Yeah but I always argue that having a monarchy, even one who is not native to "Canada", has no place in North America, especially in the 21st century when the UK has become more irrelevant in the world and the U.S. in the dominant position. If "Canada" ever becomes a republic, then there will be no point in it existing as a distinct nation and should just push to be annexed by the U.S.
The British Empire is long dead, I don't know why "Canada" still can't let go of that old legacy by keeping the Queen of England and remaining in the Commonwealth when obviously nothing else distinguishes it from the U.S. We gained our independence in order to fight against that and it's about time that you accepted Freedom, where you will have more opportunity and prosperity.
But alas, when I was a kid I always thought the UK and the Union Jack looked cool and I kinda wish I was in London. Having a monarchy ruling over you but still being very modern is a cool juxtaposition to have.
At least the Game Corner in Pokémon Gold, Sliver and Crystal, the Johto region in Generation 2 is based in Japan so there's that.
There were many over here, especially from the late 2000s.
The Total Drama series, 6teen and Johnny Test is what I can remember.
