I have seen/read basically every main type moon stuff
KnK is part of the trifecta alongside Tsukihime and Fate/Zero. I'd mention Mahoyo but that visual novel only has any value if you're already heavily into type-moon.

i saw all the anime and movies for the fate stye night stuff (all 3 routes) but only got to when the MC (forgot his name) met the red haired maids a while ago for tsukihime and forgot about everything.

I read the vinnie and the best thing about type moon visual novels is their presentation and prose. this sounds really pretentious and gay but it's true. Heaven's Feel is my favourite route for how dark it is and it's just done infinitely better in the visual novel even though the movies look fucking great and are super well animated
