It was my first visual novel and I loved it, I went with Yuri my first playthrough then Natsuki because of an edit I saw on tiktok, My favorite vn by far. Also give recommendations on similar vns or animes

I dont think any character besides monika is that interesting. They all feel like "GENERIC NICE GIRL GENERIC SHY GIRL GENERIC TSUNDERE GIRL" archetypes, I also feel like the whole "waifu culture bad" message some people find on it its kind of retarded.

I played it when it came out, I was like 11 years old and It scared me a lot, then I downloaded Monika After Story because I knew a virtual girlfriend was the most i would ever get in life

I think the point of the game was to play on those stereotypes and give them a twist, like the fact that Natsuki plays the small tsundere archetype because her father doesnt feed her and abuses her.

It's pretty alright. I wouldn't say it's the best out there, but it's not bad either. I loved Yuri and Monika, but Sayori and Natsuki felt kind of dull. I've played a lot of DDLC mods and liked them.
