I know PIE can take months (or even years) to fade on its own, but I can’t help but feel impatient. I’ve heard things like laser treatments can work, but that’s obviously a big financial commitment.

Is this just acne scars?

Nah it's a skin condition. It's not the same as acne I think but probably similarly categorised. I've got decently bad acne scarring from when I was younger. I don't care about changing myself anymore though. Fuck it.

No because acne scars happen when the deeper layers of the skin are damaged during healing, leaving permanent changes like indentations or raised areas

For whats it worth, accutane is the only thing that can help acne. I had borderline acne fulminans (actual boils) on my back and face, but accutane fixed it in 8 months.

I have 0 scars on my face but a lot on my chest and back. But they seem to be fading away with time.

Vitamin E cream or something maybe?

Earth Clinic is a good site for help with different maladies, or ask chatgpt. Or sometimes drugs.com.
