Do you think government is just? And if so, how so?

As of this moment, I think that government is illegitimate and a force that has given humanity a bad place within creation. Man is capable of being free, but if say you that man is barbaric; How can you say man is irrational and need of government when that government will house those very barbarians?

My conclusion: through adherence to natural law and moral behavior, upholding to reason and mastered emotion. Man therefore will no longer need government because he recognizes his inherent sovereignty.

Is man not as barbaric, if not more so within society though? We have technology, money, and the effects of industry and yet there are poor roads and roads ahead. If anything, aren't animals often more civil? They keep to themselves until something shakes them, no?

I have a book called "the territorial imperative" it doesn't make that exact statement, but territoriality is as real as a monkeys ass. However, yes we must guard what is ours, but we are not so low that we can't comprehend what is mine, what is yours.
