For starters, most people completely lack self-awareness when it comes to IQ. Almost everyone thinks they're smarter than they actually are because only a tiny percent of the population has ever taken a legit IQ test like the stanford-binet. We all know about midwits, but there's also a lot of low IQ people who have an extreme amount of confidence in everything they say no matter how retarded it is to everyone around them. Also high IQ people don't stand out in a crowd like face and height moggers do.

Also most people in that IQ range (80-100) will have little to no interaction with someone who is 160+ in their lifetime. Not just due to how extremely rare they are (maybe 1 in 100,000 people have an IQ this high) but because such people are in different fields and/or much higher up the ladder than 80-100 IQ people are. People with IQs 160+ or even just 130+ are pretty much always very successful career-wise. Even if they're ugly and autistic, there are plenty of fields where they would thrive in (engineering, programming, etc.).

I'm in the 80-100 IQ range (at least I pray to god I am because if I'm outside of that range, it's because I'm below 80) though obviously on the lower end of that range, and some of my coworkers are college students who seem to be in the 100-110 IQ range. Even compared to them I feel giga-subhuman. I've also had high IQ friends before (though more like 130-140 as opposed to 160+) and yes, obviously I felt ultra-giga-turbo retarded around them. It gets worse....they were all at least above average looking too and a couple were pretty boys.

All that being said, I'm an exception to the rule since very few low IQ people are as self-aware about it as I am. Most guys if they had my face, body, and low IQ would just cope hard and be in denial about it all. They'd look at the high IQ pretty boys I knew and think "those guys are so corny and weak, I bet they're gay!". I know this because a low IQ ugly truecel I was friends with met one of the high IQ pretty boys I was friends with once (I knew them from completely different social circles) and he said almost exactly that (he was "corny" and "gay" or something along those lines).
