Is it normal that parents of my peers created all the conditions for life (time, freedom, pocket money), while mine, on the contrary, did not give, but TAKEN away my resources (time, energy, youth)?
I remember all my life, starting from adolescence, how my peers always hung out at parties, went in groups to some places, socialized, made friends, related, fucked and so on, while non-social teenagers at HOME could play computer games for many hours. When I tried to play on the computer after school for more than two hours, my father called me a SLOADER, said that only PARASITES sit and, as he put it, "do nothing".
I was constantly being pushed to work, told that I had to HELP (garden, GARAGE, around the car "bring-give-go don't bother" and stuff like that, or some kind of errand like go 2 kilometers to the post office and pick up the goods that my father ordered from AliExpress).
if there was no THING to DO, then new THINGS were always found - extra cleaning, extra throwing of clothes in the washing machine, extra washing of dishes, extra vacuuming, extra carrying of 20 kg building blocks from point A to point B.
Any free minute turned into a WORKING minute.
Study plus work at a REGULAR level, there was never any free time left, neither at 14, nor during my student years 18-22.
Eternal hopeless plowing without end or edge, it is not clear why and it is not clear for what purpose...
In most families, parents plough their children? Or am I one of the few who is unlucky?
Often when I accidentally walk down the street, I see young people aged 16-25 having fun, having fun, well-dressed, going somewhere to have sex, or just cheerful companies, or couples in love.
If I hadn't done the work, in my student years, starting at 18, I would have been kicked out of the house, without food and a roof over my head.
I am not registered there, since my parents rent housing.
