Say a married women cheats with Chad. But then because of that her husband divorces her. The police then could look into the social media and text messaging and phone calls between the cheating whore and Chad. And determine the level of liability Chad has. Eg.. if the Chad was initiating sex and also if he knew she was married.
Because divorce is costly and then a separated family has to pay for two households instead of one. So the police/courts then could garnish the wages/seize assets of the Chad to cover at least half of the additional costs. The additional costs would go until the woman remarried.
Some examples of additional costs the divorced family would have with two households compared to when they were living together in one house..
-additional electrical bill
-additional internet & cable bills
-monthly rent for the new place
-legal fees for the divorce and things like negotiating child custody
-possible baby sitting costs
-psychologist visits for psychological issues following the divorce
So say the additional costs were $4,000 a month. Then the Chad might be liable for $2,000 a month of that until the woman remarried.
