Once I get a proper gaming pc setup with a large monitor instead of a laptop screen, I will stop being depressed. No more squinting like a Chink

dang if only I could get a job in the economy

I went from a 14" screen to a 32" one. It is shocking when you use it for the first time.

I am excited.
Only thing keeping me going

Laptop screens suck everything is so tiny, brutal

I went from 24" to 48". It took a day for me to stop going dizzy, and realize I need to be at least 4 feet from the screen, which is much better for my eyes.

I always simultaneously feel like roping but also oddly hopeful like someday I will climb out of this neet hole I am in and change the world

I think 27 is the sweet spot for a desk setup

I always feel like roping but just have no motivation to do anything but rot and drugs

I had one of these before. It's a 11.6 inch laptop

i have 24 and wouldn't mind a bigger screen. 1440p or 4k would be great as 1080p looks like ass with mandatory TAA always on, on 1080p

I don't think anything beyond 1440p is worth the electricity though.

Either way works. Now that I have a huge monitor, I really don't want to go back. My 2nd monitor now is a 27" and it's so small.

Besides, cost wise, going that much bigger isn't much more expensive for OLEDs.

Probably not but modern gaymes are designed with 4k screen in mind that they downgrade due FSR/Pisser to ass low as 768p :society: 1440p is probably the best compromise, 1080p is no longer worth it unless you play only old games or f2p titles

LMAO I had a laptop that was slow as hell so I beat the shit out of it and broke it. I was too cheap to buy another so I got that at Walmart lol. I don't use computers I'm always on my phone. Right now I have a HP 15 4GB ram laptop that I never use that I bought years ago. I think it has Windows 8 or something Intel core i3

I've been at my job for 10 years straight out of highschool. I can Google and watch YouTube just fine on my phone.

are they useful and worth it or is dual screen overhyped
Overhyped. Tried dual screen, but switched back to single because I don't like having to turn my head to look at another screen. Using alt+tab is eaiser in my opinion. Dual screen also requires more work because you need to drag the windows to the other screen, and I heard it lowers gaming performance. Then there's the issue of colors not looking the same, and changing the monitor brightness.

I suppose but nowadays everything needs a billion step online process to get a job I envy the job market of a decade or two ago.

Good to know thanks

happy as is with my 24" monitor tbh
i don't really see the need to have it be any bigger

My 2nd screen broke so i'm on just one for past year and i'm rarely missing my 2nd screen. It's just a distraction as you would only need it for a youtube or spotify i can easily use alt+tab to switch to them.

I used to have 16" laptop monitor. After that I bought a new pc with new monitor. Now I have 27" IPS 1440p monitor and compared to my old laptop screen its like heaven and hell. When I started the monitor for the first time I was scared of how big it was and it took me a week to get used to it. But when I first started playing it felt as if I was my entire life colorblind. I have never seen things this well. Just a shame I have one dead pixel in the middle.
