Yep, I feel this way all the time. This is because you see this world for what it is and reality is incredibly depressing and boring.

I think finding ways to enhance our previous copes.
For movies, maybe we could go see a 3D or 4D movie at the cinema
For games, if you can afford it, get a VR headset
