I saw a couple of posts here talking about zoomers and blaming them for complaining about old games being too hard but even if you look up new games you will see normalfags saying how the game is to hard and they hate this they hate that blabla. For example re4 demake look up any comment section of hardest difficulty or one of the speedrun challenges you will find normies complaining how it was too hard and they hated it. They only do it to get all achievements or the platinum trophy not cause they actually like the game. But to fet to the point they don't really want to play any games. They hate a challenge. Millions of normies will brag how they beat elden ring but they 100% used summons. Thats why Snoy movie faggot games are so popular because they are basicaly interactive movies.

Beating a game on the hardest difficulty with a controller is harder than it is with a mouse and keyboard, for sure.

Doable, but significantly harder, depending on the game.

But, tbh, the controls in RE4 Remake even sucked for PC and the aiming sucks as well as, apparently, the blast radius / damage of hand grenades.

I mean RE 4 sucks in general.

One day I might write an in depth critique of the game to shut up the nostalgia copers once and for all.

I wasn't exactly speaking about RE4 and i bet that game has auto aim. I was talking about vast majority of modern games that play better on controller than on m+kb (if there is even a support)

They always sucked and partially by design to not let you shoot and move at same time to make game harder and more annoying. Now they made it like any other TPP game released in past 20 years.

No, RE4 for consoles does not have auto aim. On PC it does not either.

Yes, you have to stand still to shoot.

While annoying, it sort of made sense.

What never made any sense were the QTEs which were also half assed events.

Like, if you want me to run away from the boulder maybe make it so I have to press for example the left and right shoulder buttons in succession asap, consinstently to sprint faster.

That would make more sense that to just mash the X button like you want me to jerk off the controller and break my X button in the process.

But no, let's make a completely braindead QTE. Fitting for a game as braindead as RE4, tbh.

The other QTEs ain't any better and they are way to fast.
The knife fight with Krauser, the final fight with Krauser is pure masochism. Only an autist or masochist would consider this fun.

What also sucks is that you can't increase the sensitivity of your sticks on consoles, so you will aim very slowly when you go ADS.

It is super annoying.

With a few mods to fix such issues I've actually been able to enjoy RE4 on PC as a TPS game and it wasn't gamebreaking.

As for the remake, while you can move while shooting, you become a lot more inaccurate.

A famous RE no damage runner explained in a play through why RE 4 remake sucks.
He even hates on RE4 and rightfully so aand he damn sure isn't bad at those games.

If they hated the challenge they would not waste time trying to get the trophy.

Trophies=/=challenge.

Most of the time they are given by just playing the game or farming. They don't reward you for higher difficulties nowadays and let's not forget the cheese and shortcuts you can find online.

Gaming today for the most part is just amplifying dunning kruger, they even ruin remakes by making them braindead and accessible.

precision was stronger in re4 original because you were unable to move. Re4 original while being a very fun game was easy. Also the laser on every weapon made iaiming easy . Remake's precision relies on upgrades and attachments to the weapon. If you fully upgrade the the red 9 with its attachment unlocked its pretty rare to miss a shot
