Normies are the worst fans in that sense because they barely understand the concept behind the musician's product.

An album is a concept. It has its ups and downs, and it's supposed to be an experience, which could be like going to an amusement park or entering a dark forest.

As if the album is a mental state and the song alone is just a particular piece of that mental state, not the whole.

Do you believe normie fans of The Weeknd listen to his albums or just singles like Starboy and The Hills?

Plenty of normies listen to albums

I constantly see normies with this on their tshirts:

Ask these normies to name one song from Incesticide or to name all three members of the band (including the first drummer, Chad Channing) and they won't know. Goes to show how real these normie "fans" are.

Guess I'm a normie. I only pick 2-3 songs per album and never listen to the others.

The Playlist Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Most albums have just a handful of good songs worth listening to contained within them, in my experience.

There are only a few albums that I truly enjoy in their entirety.

Blud just typing shi

Why, cuz I made fun of your faggot idol? The selfsame one who explicitly said that if you hate women, he doesn't want you listening to his music? What do you feel knowing that if your hero were alive today, he would've despised you?

There are your answers, if you care.

I doubt normies listen to albums start to finish.

I've seen some people can't even handle the experience of an entire single, they skip to the bit they like and skip the rest when it's over. But idk if all this is correlated with normiedom/inceldom. I've seen incels do this.

If find it ironic that you choose to represent yourself through the band Nirvana, as Cobain was a massive woke feminist, before that was even a thing.

Normies seem to listen to the same old hit songs over and over. I think normies aren't really interested in music, but they just want something familiar on as background noise. And when normies get older, like middle-age and elderly, they only want to hear the same old hit songs from when they were 14-24 so they can reminisce about losing their virginity, first girlfriends, high school and college parties, all those good times when they were a kid.

normies listen to the most popular music like a conformist.

I don't agree, even though I have a terrible record player who don't work. For example if you listen The Doors's vinyl, Dire Strait, Joy Division, or soundtrack from incel movie or any movie who send a nihilist message I don't consider you a normie. But of course it depend

I would have said the complete opposite.

I feel like normies feel required to listen to Albums because of the social norms. Like questions regarding "who is your favourite artist" and that type of thing.

I don't think I have more than 2 songs made by the same composer on my main playlist. I just add whatever sounds good on the radio, or the melody is nice.
