I'm tired of having one-way conversations. People just ramble about something, they jump from topic to topic without letting me respond or put my input. It's so infuriating because sometimes I want to add some info or say something but I can't because they keep yapping. Then when they're done I have to be like "ok, so four things on the four different topics...." and the moment I start giving my input they start rambling again and going on another tangent.

Usually same for me but I don't talk much in person. Whenever there's a group conversation I usually let other people talk and wait for a pause to interject so I don't talk over anyone. When it's 1 on 1 I usually let the other person do their thing and mostly just ask questions. I feel extremely weird when people ask me questions but they usually don't since I am boring as fuck

I was pretty much going to say this—I sincerely doubt anyone is listening to you whenever you do get a chance to speak anyway. I've gone through this exact thing and there's zero point to ever trying to say anything because nobody cares what you have to say nor will they consider it for even a second.

I'm so retarded I never evem realised how the "non-verbal message" of such behaviour is "fuck you i could not care less about what you think" No-one in real life has ever spoken with me, as in, it went both ways, other than commerce/business related conversations where I am purchasing goods form someone. It makes you hypersensitive to power dynamics. I see normies being so effortless when they talk to people, and I see they will talk 50/50 if they like the other.
