I'm not a Brahmin but I am of a different upper caste. While it does feel good to be upper caste, I don't want to look down on other people.

It depends on how you measure what matters, but I believe the temporal nature of qualia in and of itself is meaningful, hence the timing of when you die does have relevance, whether your life is filled with suffering, pleasure, or whether you have any telos.
